Dear friends of Lebanon,
I am very delighted to extend you a very warm welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Lebanon to the Hellenic Republic.
In fact, it was quite an honor for me to take up my post as Ambassador of Lebanon to the Hellenic Republic, after 4 years of vacancy.
My main mission is to deepen relations and cooperation between Lebanon and the Hellenic Republic, with whom our country shares historical ties of strong friendship forged over the centuries, in all areas, from the political and economic fields to the cultural and social spheres. A series of projects and initiatives are under way, which will hopefully bring tangible results very soon.
Another important duty for me and my team is to provide information and assistance to the Lebanese expatriates residing in the Hellenic Republic as well as Greek friends of Lebanon and encourage them to continue contributing actively to enriching exchanges and consolidating the bonds of friendship between Greece and Lebanon. In this vein, I would like to mention that the Lebanese community in Greece has always been a model of integration and a messenger of diversity and pluralism.
We designed this website as a useful source of information related to the Embassy's activities, different aspects of the excellent Lebanon's relationship with the Hellenic Republic, economic as well as details of the services the Embassy offers which include consular services.
I would like to remind you, as well, of the changes we have introduced, a short while ago, in work schedule of the Consular Section, with the aim to serve you better and avoid unnecessary delays:
09:00 - 12:00 dedicated exclusively for Reception of Complete
Applications
13:00 - 14:00 dedicated exclusively for Delivery of documents
12:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 15:00, the Embassy doors will be closed for administrative reasons.
Applications are considered complete when the forms are duly filled out, signed, and accompanied by all required documents, and the fees are paid. Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned immediately to the applicants. The processing of the applications will take between 24 to 48 hours.
